Second Sundays: Pete Malinverni's, "The Creation"

Niagara Falls native, Pete Malinverni currently serves as Chair of Jazz Studies at SUNY Purchase. He is one of the most in-demand jazz pianists in New York City, and has performed and recorded extensively with numerous jazz luminaries including Joe Lovano, Charles Davis, and Mel Lewis.

Malinverni's composition, "The Creation," based on the text of James Weldon Johnson will be a highlight of this concert. For the performance, he will be joined by the Buffalo Jazztet and the Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (BAVPA) Choir under the direction of Ms. Karen Saxon. 

Individual passes for this concert are $15.

Spring memberships include all 3 Second Sunday concerts in the spring and are $30.
